I always encourage people to get out, take risks, and explore with uncertainty. This is what I did today and what I do most of the time I fish:) It makes for the most best trips I guarantee you!

Holey Moley! The Black Canyon is INCREDIBLE! Such a magical place to see and experience....and fish! The Gunnison River is full of life there, eh?! (Oh, yea...the large boulder behind you guys at the 7:00 mark was once BOILING MAGMA -!- like 1.7Billion years ago -!- at least 5miles below the surface! Wild! :-) ).

Nice video ya'll! Always intersting to "prospect" a smaller stream with streamers (or larger flys) to see how large of fish are in there!

It really is! I find that smaller creeks respond extremely well to streamers. Definitely outside the norm as well!

Sweet! You guys are lucky getting to go hike and fish like this! :-) (That rock at the end looked magmatic...it was molten a billion years ago! Any extinct volcanos around those canyons? Sorry about your net...but looks like you had backups!).

Sweetness! No wonder you love this so much!....beautiful creatures....the fish you caught at the 7:40min mark was stunning! (The rock you were standing on was ancient Precambrian granite....at least 1.5billion yrs. old!). 🙂
