Not the best view from the audience's perspective. I muted the speaker since the music loop became irritating after listening to a few repeats. I didn't get the information I seeked. Narration would have been very helpful. Before and after pics would have been also helpful.

They both can become uncomfortable depending upon power/depth settings. However, many on lower settings do well with good topical anesthetic +/- temporary nerve blocks. More aggressive treatments definitely do best with nerve blocks and tumescent local anesthetic, but the results can be even more amazing.

Which one would you recommend for treatment of large stretch marks? I am trying to decide between the two. I have had amazing results from the C02 laser. It's been about 15 years since I had treatment, and I am seeking something more to help with the texture. Results have not altered though, so I'm impressed with the C02.💁♀️

We generally only use 22G or 23G, but this is an older video so it may be a 25G. Cannulas smaller than 25G (e.g., 27G, 30G) act just like needles, so no safety benefit over using a needle at those sizes.

i like your style doctor. Amazing work! Not sure why several doctors told me lately that this internal browpexy does not work. I think it sounds great.I told them I don't need lift, just stabalization and they all said no. It doesn't work. I prefer this method and will not listen to them. My friend got an endoscopic lift and was left with a bald spot and scar. Searching for this type of brow lift. Thanks for posting. You look like an expert.

Hello Dr. Burroughs. I want to ask you about the difference between the internal levator approach and the mullerectomy. Recently i had a mullerectomy done on my right Upper eyelid due to ptosis, 50 day ago. And i've noticed that the eight is not the same now than it was after the first 3-4 weeks. Specially at the end of the day, after beeing awake for 12 hours. Is this normal? Or i needed another type of surgery like a levator advancement. I still have symmetry but if My eyelid continue to droop again, what should i do? I really would appreciate your opinion. Sorry for My English, i'm from Argentina. Thanks
@drjohnburroughs Жыл бұрын
They aren't that different. In reality, most muellerectomy procedures also remove some of the aponeurosis fibers and advance the levator. Eyelids can still droop when we are tired/fatigued towards the end of the day. Sorry, you are still having problems. If the lid position is still giving you trouble at 3-4 months out then an external levator surgery might help you better, but it still may droop at the end of the day or when you're tired.

My oils are clear and relatively fluid... olive oil type but they have trouble coming out with blinks. My opto doesnt want to hear it when I say a debridement could be beneficial. How do you avoid cutting off the eyelashes?
@drjohnburroughs3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question! As long as there aren’t lash extensions they are pretty well protected and left intact. If a few were partially cut, they will of course grow back normal. Usually there is no significant shortening of any lashes.

After a long battle with embarrassing sweat patches under the arms I was becoming fed up and started looking into underarm injections, as a last ditch attempt I ordered the Dermadry system and started my initial treatment of 5 days and then upkeep once a week and I can't believe that this treatment works as well as it does. No more big sweat marks and no anxiety makes this product worth every penny. The treatment is quite minimal and can be done whilst sitting watching tv, it does not hurt and feels more like an itch if using on a higher setting. I 100% reccomend this product!

A very good video, thank you. I would like skin tightening but cannot afford to lose any fat off my face, what would you recommend?
@drjohnburroughs3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your interest. I'd need to see someone's face and fat content or lack thereof to best determine, but you can still tighten the skin but not go as deep and keep the energy lower with radiofrequency technology we use. There are temperatures that the best equipment measures and that you can set your treatment to. Generally staying below 40 degrees centigrade will collapse the fibroseptal network and stimulate collagen/elastin production to tighten the skin without causing lipolysis (fat destruction by a high temperature, e.g. >41 degrees C). Chemical peels can tighten skin to a certain extent as well. The Alastin company produces some outstanding cosmeceuticals, and one tightens skin though not as much as surgery or radiofrequency approaches. Hope this helps.

It varies. Some just need skin addressed. Some need volume added (fat graft or hyaluronic acid filler), and some need some fat removed and/or repositioned. Everyone is different, and it isn't a "cookie cutter" surgery.

Thanks lovely dr for this video. I had transconjunctival lower blep done to remove fats causing eye bag on right eye... but now at two months, I feel the skin where the fats were pushing against is loose and wrinkly.. much like excess skin...since that area of skin has been “pregnant” for so many years. When I smile I still see an eye bag but less “pregnant”. My Dr may firstly not have removed enough fats and secondly the skin being loose isn’t making it better. This surgery in your video sounds like what I would need. I am seriously very concerned about retraction since to start with, my two eyeballs are not 100% even.. the part about getting tendon support from the corner of the eye is exactly what I need, cos when I pull back my skin in that direction, everything looks just perfect.

When ever I initially located this cellulite method of treatment through Ⓖo ogle , Thomas Kane†ozo, I didn’t trust since I thought it’s difficult to accomplish such outcomes with just the methods specified. However I was unhappy therefore I decided to give it a shot. I have a soft skin which is free of terrible cellulite thanks this treatment. It’s far more flexible right now. Not only that, but it’s also softer today.

From an early age I was always very concerned about my sweating palms and feet. Not only was it uncomfortable, I would be very self concsious when shaking or holding hands. I've tried deodorants, anti sweat hand creams, none of them were a good solution and the sweating would come back in half a day and moreover my hands felt somewhat very matte as I would express it (atleast it was dry right?). This device from Dermadry was the best purchase I've made so far. Within the first two sessions I've noticed a huge improvement. My hands and feet were perfectly dry all day. Heck I've even started to learn guitar which I had lost hope of cause of my sweaty hands. This really was life changing for me.
