life is beautiful.

This movie deserved so much more of our attention!!! How in the heck did this movie not get the credit it deserved? In this scene I felt what K was feeling and the music just made it all the more painful. Such a painful ending! Made me sad.

Amazing movie, just perfect!!!! I watched about a quarter of it one day about a year after it was released because when I got that far I realized it was so good that I had to watch it with my dad. He introduced me to the original and knew about all the little secrets and stuff years before anyone else did, he knows a lot about film and worked in movies and stuff. Anyway my dad and I finally watched it this weekend and we were amazed; movies (especially sequels and reboots) aren’t really that good these days. But we watched it and loved it, so many amazing moments; and I’m so glad I’ll be able to always have that memory of watching it with him. And btw, the fact that he gave the movie his stamp of approval says some very good things for this movie. It makes me happy to see all these other comments of people that also liked the movie. I was worried it would be under appreciated but clearly it isn’t! 🥳

This is one of the greatest movies ever made, in my opinion.

The tragedy of K as a character: being different and rejected, loving someone as artificial as himself, living somebody else's memories and sacrificing himself for a righteous cause.... you have to be made of stone to not feel for this guy. Denis Villeneuve made the perfect sequel.

i like the fact that the original movies ending sequence takes place in the snow, where we see a broken version of roy accepting his fate, dying knowing that his kind will continue to suffer for years. but the ending of 2049 takes places in the snow, showing that in the end, replicants did end up with a voice. i like that a lot.

Sad ending but a phenomenal movie.

there has never been another science fiction film like blade runner both films are perfect
