When I asked for clarification, I received this from Skillshare "Strikes are rolled back on a 6-month basis, meaning that in order to have your account closed for a violation of our Guidelines, all 3 strikes must have been issued within a 6-month period. Please note that receiving 3 strikes within 6 months does not necessarily mean that your account will be closed because our review team takes a lot of things into consideration when reaching a final decision whether to close an account or not, however it is best to avoid being in this situation" If it helps, this is what I've got my content strikes for over the past 4 years: 1/ I didn't speak for more than 50% of the time in a lesson (in this particular case, I had done an outro 'lesson' where I put up a gallery of photos from the class and added text) 2/ I didn't add a description of how students could upload their class projects at the end of my Intro. mea culpa 3/ There was a background hiss on one of my classes' lessons. There was. not sure where it came from, but I was able to re-edit it enough for it to become a KZbin video 🙂 4/ I didn't add titles to my lessons which reflected the educational content of the lesson. This sounds intimidating, but all they wanted really was a title like "Working on our finishing touches" or "Mixing our colour palette" - maybe I had just numbered them? Can't quite remember now. 5/ I didn't do a stand-alone intro. I had mixed it in with preparing our colour palette or something like that. I really hopes this helps and doesn't put anybody off teaching on Skillshare. I do have a disability which means I find processing information difficult, so I made some rookie mistakes. I just found it hard to read through everything. Skillshare have recently started a Wednesday discussion for teachers, which is a good support, so they are actively trying to offer more now. what?? they don't allow relationship content?? wow. thats literally their lost. building relationships is THE most important part in my eyes in life (impact health, and all other areas of your life)
