Piers succeeded at getting under his skin.. and that was his only motive here. And by doing that, we got to see the real persona

Don't be fooled by the shy quiet demeanour at the start. Piers: 'How long have you been here' and then Strangler: 'in where?...Oh in prison?'' He then rattles off the exact number of his prison days. He knows exactly whats going on. Also, low frustration tolerance at small details which would quickly turn into hot rage, if he had the chance. Very dangerous individual. Just my thoughts, having said all that, I was fascinated with this interview. Great work Piers!

The 'tragedy' here is, from such an uncivilized world that we came from, we're heading back to those days... and WORSE! Can anyone with a functoning brain believe how the Police personal investigating felt so unsure of a conviction with the mountain of evidence uncovered? With a whole dead body in his apartment and body parts in garbage bags with a hacksaw and knives used to dismember it left on top AND his blood and the victims found on it, enough to convict him? They have to prove that the photos he sent to be delevoped on his camera surrended by the developer with all the evidence in 'live and living color' of him handing over to the shop and his apartment details in every one of them? Would that be enough? I'm guessing not. bECAISE Even if you had a someone who witnessed the crimes, I have a feeling that wouldn't be enough! *WHAT SICK WORLD, WHAT A SICK COUNTRY AND MOST OF ALL... WHAT A SICK JUSTICE SYSTEM!*

The “justice system” has blood on its hands. They had a duty to protect these kids & they unleashed this evil upon them.

Its amazing that noone not people in comments or the documentary even breathes a word about these kids parents. They should be held accountable amd sentences for thr act their children committed. They shoudo spend time in prison for neglecting, abusing, and allowing these kids to roam around unattended like that. But moat of all for teachign this mentality. This type of behavior is not something a child is born with it is something that a child learns in their environment and that environment is their home first and foremost. Perhaps the world should stop blaming children for the crime the parents committed first. And then make them accountable. But parents need to be held acxountable first and foremost. They showed them how to be cruel and abusive.

What boiles up to is the constant narration in cases like this, it is always something like, they were a nice religious family, went to church every sunday. ....and also her father doesn't seem right in the head, regardless of these horrible crimes.

But they did didn't understand when he said, what can I say to the victim's families. Cause he thinks that sorry ain't enough in comparison to his horrific actions. Like it would be even more disrespectful and almost cynical. And basically when Piers said to him at the end that it would have been incredibly hard if not even impossible, to see past his horrific actions, Peirs basically made the killer's point even stronger, since sorry doesn't cut it. People will never see past this. It's also about trust. But also about not being able to live according to his past. This made me feel pretty uncomfortable yet curious, and nauseous at the same time thinking, man, I'd really like this guy, like he's genuine and seems intelligent and very nicely communicates, seems sincere, but I don't want to see these qualities that I appreciate in a person since it's coupled with psychopathy, which makes no sense to me whatsoever because I don't want to associates things I like with serial killers. So it's like his personality is a conundrum on its own
