Good question, I've had 2 games on Master Duel, where I have been Shiftered, and the answer is Yes, but it is a bit of a struggle as Mystery, Kagero and Iron Digger utilize the graveyard so with forethought you can but like I said It can be a little bit of a struggle.

Tenchi Kaimei is a phenomenal card what are you on about It's a "bad card", the card is literally a massive problem to your opponent because with Meizen on the board, letting all ninjas attack directly you get to destroy any amount of cards per battle damage. Which means that if you have 3 monsters with Meizen on board that's 4 destruction in one battle phase, then if they do have an answer for it whether it be destroying it or banishing it, its like a Soul Charge for Ninjas letting you Special Summon as many Ninjas with different names from the graveyard face down onto the field. The only literal downside to this card is if you play it too early and you can't special summon monsters from the graveyard. Also the card you are talking about is the spell card Ninjitsu Art Notebook which isn't to say it's a bad card, It's not but a one for one isn't worth it especially when you run Saizo which can do that already without the discard cost and has built in protection, nah I'm still picking Kaimei every time.

Side is subjective depending on your area and your locals that's why I am just showing the main and Extra Decks.

Good question , It comes up far less in hand when put as a one of instead of a 2, some people ( I myself Included ) sometimes like to play him at 2 as although It's a higher chance to draw him, having at least one Jioh in Deck makes the combination of Meizen's effect that much more better as Meizen can pull out Jioh from your Deck at a junction for your opponent to either Link, Synchro or XYZ Summon and Jioh permanently putting two opponents monsters face down shuts that down for your opponent Indefinitely. As i said I understand why some people like to play him at two, but after play-testing this deck extensively I much prefer the one.

Kagero at two, was genuinely one of the best decisions ever made super good effect just to be able to special something from hand or grave by any summoning means and like you said the Graveyard effect comes in clutch. That’s like saying if this such and such a thing happened this would have happened… I mean ok… but it didn’t… also lol it wouldn’t have been a loss at all I’ve been Ashed in games before and managed to play through it, adapting in the game is literally a part of dueling, if you fold with one Ash then I don’t really know what to tell you 🤷🏻‍♂️

@ I find a lot of times with ninja decks you can’t play through interruption. Hence why most people try to splash in other engines. But than it doesn’t feel like ninjas. I wasn’t trying to be confrontational I love ninjas it’s the only deck I use but often I open with a hand that folds to 1 interruption

@@bigboycampa I’m not saying getting handtrapped doesn’t suck and getting Ashed can hurt plays of course it does I totally get that but you can definitely play through them, there’s ways to recover and adapt like i said but if you are folding by one interruption then I would need to see your deck to see why that keeps happening to see if I could help otherwise I don’t know what to tell you.

And??? In modern YGO if you get maxx C'd first turn you're mostly going to lose.

It was i think $37 Canadian Dollars, which was £24ish Great British Pound where I live so you would have to figure out that exchange rate where your from, it’s an absolute steal because her work is so good! Highly recommend 💯

It’s a good enough target off of meizen that its easy to get out, and being a warrior makes it a bit awkward to fuse with. Could definitely run at 3 but you dont ever really want to see 2, depends on the build for sure though

Oh for my second choice over Karma Cannons would be Book of Moons as you say still a form of interruption and it can also help you flip your ninjas for their effects or avoid effect that specifically target face up monsters. The other choice is Eclipse however it’s not my favourite because it gives your opponent advantage.

@@sahvion1499 Thanks so much for checking it out and saying those kind words, really appreciate it, I too am an old school Six Sam & Ninja player, played them since the beginning they are my all time favourites to play. Depending on individual preferences but having 2 Kagero & 1 Jioh might be a better fit, I myself am play-testing different ratios to see which I prefer more. They are definitely not an auto pilot deck and I can understand where people say they are difficult to play as you have to be aware of timings for interruptions and knowing when to punish opponents that commit too much. It’s all about getting to know the cards and combos. Nah they’re not meta but they are great fun and can compete, granted your a semi decent pilot, I’m by no means saying I’m a good pilot I always say no matter how good you think you are, there are still plenty to learn. I’m thinking of doing some combo tutorials let me know if that’s something you and others would be interested in.
