Greetings and thank you for the shoutout! Unfortunately I somehow missed this notification, I wish I had replied sooner. But in any case, here are some answers to your questions from the video: Yes you can change the head mesh. And the teeth in the middle are a separe mesh. No other heads are not included. The worm heads are blocking each other, but their bodies don't. There are also no other animations included in the project besides the procedural slithering "animation" of the body (which isn't a skelatal animation since the project contains no skeletal meshes) I hope this clears up some things. Again, thank you for the mention. Also, a new procedural dragon asset is out. Hopefully you will like that one too. Cheers!

7:15 The image says: "FOR SALE" "Women's Tears Bar" The term for "women" used here (Баба, pronounced as "Baba") means something like "a simple woman", "a country woman" or "a village woman", sometimes used in modern language as diminutive, but most likely ironically with no negative connotations. Sometimes women use it among themselves ironically. The ornament under the written words is Khokhloma, a traditional an an extremely well-known Russian cultural thing. I see "FOR SALE" signs on a couple of the houses on the first sample map in your video but no bar or Khokhloma but I assume that is a decal sheet provided to use with the assets.

Formula for getting square diagonal neighbour is not right for NorthEast. It is described as "TileID - Map Columns - 1" in the video, which is formula for NorthWest neighbour. Correct NorthEast formula should be "TileID - Map Columns + 1". Otherwise thanks for the tutorial, very helpful, keep it coming!

Nice video, Creator of Customizable Interaction Plugin here, just wanted to say that the use of the enhanced input is completely up to the user, allowing you to use it if you want, the legacy input was only used as an example. Now talking about the widget part, it is also only an example, allowing you to customize it as you want, event if it means creating a whole new widget class. would really apreciate if you consider updating your review on the marketplace.

Weird rating metrics. What is compatibility? How is it so low on human animations? A score of 3 should be reserved for a 7 legged beast animation pack. And how is the climbing pack innovative or have good customization? It seems live you just came up with scores and categories randomly. You said the fire works had quick interrogation into products but gave it a compatibility of 4, which is low for how well your rated it vocally. You also gave it a customization of 6 but you rated it highly vocally, saying it had a lot of parameters to adjust. 25 muzzle flashes, each with customization variables and colors - yet again a score of 6 on customizing. The RPG VFX and 15 effects. yet you rated it 7, higher than 25 different muzzle effects. You are just making up these numbers. Poor video, poor effort. I wouldn't be surprised if this video script was made using ChatGPT. Downvote.

Hello, Thank you for your comment, This series is at the beginning and your comments help make that better. Compatibility is rated by how many engine versions and also platforms are supported by the project. A project with compatibility of 1, just supports PC and also the last engine version. Customization has many other different factors, for example, for FX packs colors and scales are basic so a project with those will get 5 as a starting point. There's also room for human errors as the count of projects is high, and reviewing and editing videos is very time consuming.

Thank you. I thought I was losing my mind for a bit when I couldn't get the map to display properly but when I checked I realized I was reusing hexes I made in blender for a different grid tutorial and they were the wrong size. I went back and regenerated them and now it works perfectly. Seriously, thank you, I just got started with Unreal and you taught me a great deal about wiring up a BP. Much more OOP than the other tutorial.

I like that you don't try to sugar coat bad assets just because they are free, like many other bloggers do. I dislike that you lower the asset's rating for nonsense. Like the Asian Environment gets only 4/5 because it lacks VFX and sounds lol. This is a top environment asset from a hard surface artist perspective according to your video, but you lower the rating because it lacks work of a separate specialization: VFX artist, or even an entirely different job: sound designer. It seems you are assessing the assets much more from a gamer perspective than from a professional game developer perspective. Please mention WHY you lower a rating, for example, you praised the dungeon pack but in the end gave it only 4/5. I subscribe and hope that in the future you will preserve your harsh views on bad assets. I hope you won't lower ratings for things that are not advertised by the project or that are some small nice-to-have things that relate to a different gamedev specialization than the main asset itself. Cheers!

Hello, and thank you for your thoughtful comment, I’m glad you appreciate the honest reviews. This was my first asset review video, so I’m definitely taking notes to improve the next ones. For the Asian City asset, I rated it 4/5 because, while it is visually stunning, I felt it could have been more immersive. Adding particles, sound effects, or even some simple animal or human models could have brought the scene to life in a more dynamic way, and the scene was not like the real life set everything was super clean without imperfection. Regarding the dungeon pack, I lowered the rating for two main reasons: first, it’s a Nanite scene with no support for platforms that don’t support Nanite. Second, the showcase level was quite small-I expected a more comprehensive demo that highlighted all the assets included at least a level. I appreciate your feedback and will make sure to clarify my rating criteria more clearly in future videos. Thanks for subscribing.

@@AziApps thanks however i am still stuck. i already already enabled the instance editable the problem lies in the box extent where do i set the values i have clicked checked every node before and after and the box extent itself with no way to change the values on any of them. am i to add more multiplication nodes because the ones there are not editable. i would greatly appreciate the help because the other tutorials i've seen do not allow me to swap meshes like this and i realy want this feature but i can't move to the hex grid video until i have this one complete
