Hello everyone! My name is Cathy. Even though Shay knows me as Audie. Anyway, I grew up watching my grandmother crochet. She would make blankets, pillow dolls, slippers, potholder and so much more. We'll, when I was a teenager I tried to catch on, but I wasn't really interested. Well, 2 or 3 years ago, I decided I wanted to learn to crochet. I would start, and then I would get discouraged and quit. I would start again and do the same thing. I still do that, but it's not as bad. So, from time to time, I will get on KZbin and watch videos on simple crochet patterns. I just would like to get the hang of it, so I could work on that someday when I have the kids, or if I am just sitting around at night when hubby is watching tv. I know they can make beautiful gifts as well. 😊

Oh and P.S. May I suggest you track your steps and simply take one step more each and every day! My phone has a step tracker and some days I get more than others but that’s cuz I don’t always carry my phone 📱 either I forget or I don’t have a pocket…! Today so far 1512 (I will strive to carry it all day) you got this Shay, great idea and great planning…now all you gotta do is take the steps. Hugs friend. Walk on! 🚶🏼♀️👟you prolly wear shoes and I wear 🚶🏼♀️🥾

It’s okay! You can do some walking in place or put on a KZbin walking video and walk along with them! I know you’re wanting to also get out of the house but if that’s the only way to get some activity in then you can do that! I don’t think you’re quitting. I’m also on a weight loss journey this year. We can do it together.

SHAY!!! HEY!!! I am the opposite of you I hate to be hot so winter is my favourite it is 18° outside right now. I just came in from walkin the girls(dogs) fed and watered the chickens and caught a few snowflakes on my tongue. ❄️❄️❄️Tomorrow is a new day. But for today do some type of low impact workout inside. The more you move the more calories will be used and your metabolism will boost and burn excess blood sugars too. You go girl! You got this. So here I pledge to cheer you on! It's okay Shay! It's cold here too and we got about 5 inches of snow overnite. Now it's snowing again. I would love to get out there to take a walk on my street and film the snow but I think I'll stay inside where it's warm lol. Take care & have a good day. It's only 25 degrees here and with the wind it feels like 14!!

Nice video Shay! YOu did a great job walking and talking about your town. You have alot of things that are interesting there. My town is so small. At the end of town we have things like McDonalds, Taco Bell, Burger King and a grocery store but there isn't a sidewalk to walk on down there. I could never walk as much as you did and talk while walking. I get so out of breath that I am huffing and puffing. I also have back problems so I have to sit down and rest alot. Take care & keep walking. Thanks for sharing.😀❤
