I don't like the two stripes on the '69s, particularly on the hood with those scoops, the straight stripes don't flow with the curves of the scoops. I wish they'd gone with a single stripe in the center, like the '70-'72. But I wouldn't kick it out of my garage.

I had a friend back in the eighties who took a v6 out of a Buick and put it in a 240z. It ran off fuel injected alcohol and it was the fastest car I’ve ever ridden in. Sadly, he later killed him self driving a Chevy corvair with a 327 in it that also ran on alcohol, wrapped it around a telephone pole. Love those old Z’s 👍
