I've been running my stock servo for 3 years and its fine, gonna look at it though probably just regrease, you must use marine grade grease or you'll get rust

Didn't even get through one battery on Christmas with xmaxx putting around the backyard before the plastic gears stripped out. Traxxas should be embarrassed to sell such a faulty product. I'm going to install these as a temporary solution then eventually upgrade to a Promodler DS635BLHV servo with the alloy install kit.

Absolutely beautiful truck! I love the Rovans, have a couple myself. Il give you a HUGE tip for that 36cc motor ... all 36cc Rovan motors have a bad design flaw ... the compression is WAY to low on them ... the squish is over 2mm! And this can be felt with how "doughy" the throttle is from a stand still ... there lucky to even spin the wheels ... im sure by now you have "felt" how "blahhh" the throttle response is ... BUT, there is a quick easy fix, that wont cost you a cent to fix it! All you need to do is, quickly remove the cylinder, remove the base gasket, and re-assemble with a very light skim of 1211 sealant ... do NOT put a gasket back on, just use the 1211 to seal the cylinder to the base. This will bring the compression up a nice amount (not optimal) but it will make a HUGE difference in torque and throttle SNAP! The optimal way is to also shave material off the engine block, to get the squish even closer to perfect ... but just removing the gasket will give you an EXTREMELY noticeable gain in power, and it can be done in under an hour easy!

My steering was way off out of the box. I couldn’t even straighten it out with the transmitter. Now I need to figure out how to straighten the wheels and fix the steering servo. Awesome video!,

I think it works great. I’m not a huge fan of the tires though, they seem a bit too thin. Will most likely upgrade.

Watched you video where the Maxx went into the water. Was going to say the world needs more dads like this guy. Out there having a blast with his kids and not freaking out when an accident happen. Stock tires are a little thin but it does well for the most part. Keeps up with the Traxxas crawlers with no problem. It’s a pretty fun crawler!

I had same problem with the upgrade servo , I took apart and found a wire had not been soldered correct to motor I soldered on and been fine

I put my trx4 bronco shocks wheels and tires on my axial wraith 1.9 and it made such a huge difference. Thing will go anywhere. Everything else on it is stock.
