Hey Ron what gloves do you prefer to use while digging ?

Most of the time they are just the cheap Walmart Hyper Tough nitrile dipped gloves. Think you get 3 par for $5 or something like that. They actually do pretty good and I can wash them a couple times. I do have a heavier pair of Milwaukee dipped gloves' from home depot when it is a bit colder out. I have also used the WElls Lamont nitrile dipped. I dont go expensive as the finder usually wear out pretty quickly and i can just toss the cheap ones and put on a new pair.

It's 5:52pm July 31,2024. Just amazing,all those confederate buttons. Usually all I see in videos are the Union eagles. That's a rare spot, a Hot spot . Way to go!😮

Hey Marv- I appreciate you dropping in on that video and glad you enjoyed it! That was a great site. Houses going up soon. We had a great time and I think close to 200 confederate buttons came out of there!! Maybe more. We only got about a week of the prime time and then our host kinda pulled the invitation. So. True. A dark part of our history but history all the same. It is crazy when I’m hunting these plantations and my imagination drifts off to everything that was going on in the area I am hunting. Crazy!! But saving these pieces of History is amazing.

Very nice Hunt or Hunts there Ron and Cameron. Cameron Congrats on your first US Bit Boss excellent find. Love the General Service Buttons. Ron the Chinese Coins and Pickaxe Congrats. You sure your not back in California. I love finding those. Did the Pickaxe have a makers name on it. Ive found a couple here with a makers name. Pretty Cool. The Suspender Piece very ornate and I love the Buckles you found. Congrats on the big General Service Button and 1946 Silver Rosie. Theres a little time frame there. Great finds. Holy what a few awesome Hunts there Ron. Wow. The South Carolina Cadet Button is what I seen on Adventures in Dirt Congrats. The War of 1812 Button amazing. Plus Dog Bone Puter Button Speechless. All the Buttons you found I enjoyed them. So many different styles. The Padlock Slide and Flying Eagle Penny still on my Bucket List. Congrats on the Silver Mercury Dime, Heart, and the piece of Shoe Buckle. That is Beautiful. Never seen a Plantation Token excellent find. Love the Hold Plate Victorian Piece and Strawberry Button. I found a Strawberry Button not like your though. The Horses on the Rosette nice. The President Suspender Piece most of the ones I've found Pat. 1900. Love it. Congrats on all your Coppers a Relics Ron. Can't forget about the Spur you found so cool. I've found a few Spurs but Iron. Take Care my friend. Hope you'll have another video soon. Crazie Digging

thanks for stopping in and for the comments. we have about 6-8 sites spread out in different directions so one day here then we move a try another spot so can't say we favor any one area in particular. We might head back to the Beaufort area next trip but just depends on where we can get on.

I haven’t hunted with Larry for a few years now. Our big hunts got downsized so we all kinda do our own thing in smaller groups. I know Larry and Pete still hunt from time to time. I think they do more Facebook. I’m not on those other social media sites. Just a few KZbin videos from time to time for me. Take care buddy. Hope the health issues are getting behind you.

Amazing video Ron!!! 1812 Artillery button, Flying Eagle cent, Cadet button, spur, ..... What a great variety of finds. That sandy soil was kind to those relics. Congrats. Thought of you last week when I was out in central California for a wedding and Reno for some R and R. Keep em' coming.

Thanks baystate!! I have had this shovel for years and years long before moving to VA!! The old Lesche D-Handle relic shovel! This old girl had dug a pile of relics in her lifetime!! LOL Get online and find the LESCHE D handle-- you cant go wrong with that shovel!!
