Dear Brian ... Many at State and the Admin are telling people to "forget" Lebanon. Thanks for your honesty and inside information. Hopefully the US will use its tools to help steer Lebanon in the right direction.

Even though I’m against the president’s political party, the UN needed to hear this. It’s sad that the cameras only showed us the president and the Lebanese council. I wanted to see the looks of other people’s faces (especially Israel) but it appears that the council was pretty empty during Michel’s speech
