She's back home now! Was so relieved when she came back, as she is one of my favourite BF ships! :)

Barfleur wasn't actually sold - she was leased to DFDS but has now had a very successful summer season in 2013 on the Poole-Cherbourg service for which she was built. She's back in service in 2014 after a few weeks lay-up in Jan/Feb (very little business then anyway). Hooray!!! BritFerries have chartered the Cotentin to Stena North Sea Ltd for 12 months.

Thanks for your comment, lego - my favourite too. It's great she is back where she belongs, on the Cherbourg-Poole route. Let's hope the service continues for ever :)

Belle vidéo ! Dommage que vous n'étiez pas du côté des jetées où il y a les bateaux de pêches, au bout lors de son départ de Ouistreham. Beau ferry en tout cas, j'ai fait des photos de celui-ci sur le bassin Calix en Mars dernier.
