Unfortunately TCL models also do this. Mine just started after only buying it new from Walmart only 2 months ago. Its a "Smart Wifi" unit so it also has the control board. Im assuming even the non smart wifi ones have it of theyre atleast digital. My previous unit was only a year old and the compressor stopped coming on to blow cold. I now assume it had the same issue but i didnt know about it. It was like this one but a GE. I still have it but its stored bc i thought it may just need cleaned. My other issue is i wonder if TCL will either refund me or replace or will they want to repair? Do you or anybody know the usual protocol with this? I need AC for another couple months atleast bc i live in Alabama and its like sticking your head in a clothes dryer after only a few minutes being on. Its Sunday morning now so they arent available until tomorrow to even find out. Ive never heard of hige companies not having call centers for customer service but whatever. Thanks for the video. Oh also a question is when i do the hack and the compressor constantly runs ahould i periodically shut it off to prevent overheating ? Thanks.

just did this. works! i will suggest using wire cutters to strip the wire and wire caps to tie them. i tried using tape and scissors and it did not work until i got the right stuff. thanks for the video!

I did this but the next day i removed the front frame again because it wasnt throwing cold air and the whole front part inside was covered in ice where did i go wrong?

I dont think mine is broke. it only wants to run between 9:30pm and 9am. i think they are fucking with it over the wifi and causing damage from being forced into a energy saver mode.
