As former HS band member, there is nothing that lends itself so well to bands as Glenn Miller and those of the Swing Era.

Nice job young musicians. I suppose there's a reason the arranger chose to leave the melody note out of the 3 part girl harmony. Seemed glaringly absent.

These kids are great! I grew up listening to Glenn Miller because my dad was such a great dancer. He taught me how to swing dance when I was about 9 or 10, and I still love to dance!

The soloing isn’t particularly strong snd at times it’s not together. My one criticism is where’s robs part? So often in his arrangements he has his own part that joins the band on occasion but no one seems to be playing his part.

Lead alto either needs to be louder or the rest of the section needs to back off. Great feeling from everybody though. But lead alto should be on top of the other sax voices

Wow, great post folks. Quick story here…. I used to live on Cosburn and would regularly walk my dogs up Donlands. One evening I heard these great beats emanating from a house on Donlands and just had to stop with the doggies and groove along. It was great. I guess that you dudes had just finished jamming when out you came, it was pretty cool for sure. We had a wee chat for a few and Joel, the French Horn player handed me a copy of your first CD. I’ve been hooked ever since then. I have 2 rather large female mastiffs and I wouldn’t expect you to remember me at all. But I certainly remember you guys. As an old fart who still prays to the GODS OF THE ALMIGHTY BLACK SABBATH, I do DIG YOUR BEATS!! Cheers All the best guys and keep on jamming. 👍👍
