a meandering stream, flat- floor valley infill...signs of deforestation due to human impact over the millenia..once great pine forests stood here..

Totally wrong statement there “Doc assumption”….. If you knew anything at all about this area you would not make that unqualified statement ……..there may have been a tree or two …. Hardly ever any habitation ….. a few maybe …. Why don’t you blame Climate change …..?

How deep is that water it looks very deep I'd use a 14ft shooting head line and small flies
