Hi! Did you also use the haze machine while recording the video for the photography sessions, or just the smoke machine? I see there's like a soft yet dense "mist" effect around you that I like

Hey! I only used the Smoke Genie during the photography sessions not other machine was used. I also liked the mist effect :)

It is still cinematic. It depends on what mood you’re going for. If you’re going for a dramatic tone, then yes, a dark key light would fit the tone

The base plate of the shoulder rig has a manfrotto compatible base plate so fits on most tripods no need for additional parts

It all depends. Book lighting is pleasing to the eye but hard to move around to adjust. If you're shooting multiple subjects throughout the day, there will most likely be someone wearing glasses. The book light will have a huge glare on the subject's glasses. If you were using a soft box you could simply pedestal up until the glare is gone.

I think booklights are especially good for women (or otherwise feminine peoeple) who would like very soft shadows and even lighting, whil softboxes are better for masculine people with sharper featues that want to be eccentuated.
