I was not aware there was a lego eyeball piece like that, that does make for a creepy steampunk invention though, pretty good

Thank you! The Spider Droid is such a nice set that I almost regret modifying it. However, all my LEGO eventually become something steampunk.

Love lego steampunk, specially minifigures, but sadly I don't have many minifigure parts to make my own, however, biomechanical ones are much much easier to produce (I specially love minifigures because I love character design type of things, and when you make a custom minifigure you are obviously evolving yourself in characters design after minifigures is my love for buildings and mechs, steampunk is just my favorite style, shame I don't have all the pieces others do to make such wonderful steam powered creations)

Yes, character design is really fun! Unfortunately Lego is expensive and minifigures parts are hard to find. I will make a video tutorial on the biomechanical minifigures. They are easy to assembly and don't need a lot of parts. Keep building! I collect and create with LEGO for over twenty years now.
