Thats the most talking Ive ever heard from a Quaker! So adorable! Does anyone know how hard their bites are? Trying to decide between a Quaker or a Conure.

This woman is fun to watch. I can't tell if she's just really funny or slightly high. Or if Tiki is actually stoned, cuz Tiki looks like that kind of parrot.

Just got a one year old blue quaker, not hand reared and very scared. He's getting used to me putting chillies in the bars and will take them on his own but will not take from hand just yet he does back up mostly but will sit and eat there with me and is starting to respond to my voice and plays peekaboo. He does relax on his perch and plays with the mirror bell. I'm taking it slow with him and not forcing him onto my hand yet, I want him to take treats from my hand first and maybe up onto a perch before hand. Any advice is greatly appreciated as I would like to get him out the cage asap because he will get bored or territorial. Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

I enjoy a lot of quiet time but from PEOPLE, not my companion birds. I especially despise ear rape noise pollution that comes from diver city in every urban jungle. You want to talk about _offensive_ ? Offensive are my rights to existing in peace and quiet in my own HOME without Javon, Shay nay nay and Tyrone's repetitious whiny White hating cRap tribal warfare muse sic intruding my sound space. Birds are annoying? Go spend a Fa king day in Chicango, the birds will feel like inner peace and silence comparatively speaking. Parrots make them seem like the real animals, because they are.

Caution, rant: I'm gay, people are born a specific sex for a reason, if not we would all be hermaphrodites like snails. This whole Bolshevik propaganda ideology that a person's gender is a damn pronoun and preference or something you can _identify_ as, is absolutely, positively sickening and disgusting. Number one, your sexual _preference_ does not identify you or your personality and if you go around acting like a a mentally sick drag queen because you're gay, well you without a doubt need professional unindoctrinated mental help and you shouldn't parade yourself or sexual preference around like some hideous fashion statement. Number two, be honest with yourself. Are you choosing to act a certain way or do something because your peers and or the *media* is doing it or telling you to do it and because it's _trending_ like a virus or because that's what you really want? Saturday Night Live SNL used to do a skit with _Pat_ , a character where no one could ever figure out if *IT* was male or female. Who the hell wants to be an *IT* ? You should not go on shallow ass Tick tock where the Chinese watch and record every _trend_ happening in the world. People are closer to Darwinism than they have ever been. You and anyone else with a brain cell left should steer clear of *INFLUENCE* and stop acting all alike before the sheep harvester comes and finds that catching you all is very easy because you all have been programmed to think that life is like a Ewe Tube video and there are real safe spaces and that someone _offending_ you online is worse than a person being murdered in real life.

This is so cute! And you're very pretty. You seem to be very aware of her needs, I hope she's still doing great. I just adopted Opal a 7 month old Grey Quaker, I love her so much but she's *SO* shy and skittish. My sweet baby Taco passed away, the little guy in my thumbnail account pic, a green cheek Conure, Sept 2nd 2022 and he stole my soul that day. I still cry over him all the time. My boyfriend bought me Opal hoping she will help me heal and as a new companion, I have high functioning autism so companion birds are great for people like me. Except for the sad parts, I went into a horrific depression and life has been very hard since his passing. I have never been so devastated. . . even by a human passing. Please take care of your Tiki, she may get annoying or get on your nerves but she loves and trusts you and I can tell. Let me tell you something else, if anything were to happen to her, you'll never forget it and you'll never forgive yourself. When she bites at your face like that she isn't trying to hurt you, she just thinks of it as playing and you part of her flock, you should be grateful she feels this way. Hope you still have her and are taking care of her. An update would be nice, thanks, Will.

Nice presentation 🙂 My little green chicken turned 15 this year. He used to talk when he was young so I know he can and he certainly understands more than he has ever spoken but he just chooses not to, or rarely ever speaks. He has had the trauma of losing his mate a few years ago. I have had only him alone for several years but recently got a cockatiel. Zanzibar wants to be friends with him so bad but the ‘tiel is dealing with the loss of his former person and is pretty withdrawn. I hope one day they can be buddies.
