That was definitely a rod smashing through the block, funny enough water doesn't like to compress, it will only compress by about 5% even at 1000 x atmospheric pressure

Ask yourself this question.. if you were looking to buy a car.. and you passed a car showroom where all the cars were deep in water up to their tyres.. would you even contemplate going into that showroom to buy a car if there was a car on the forecourt that you liked?? No you would'nt.. because you would be thinking the cars would be water logged and possibly damaged by the water?? This has been a problem with BMW's for ever.The engine breather system is set very low in the engine bay and even the most inocuous of flooded roads can destroy the engine in seconds. It is a discgrace that they continue to do this bcause thousands of owners do this every year, I know at least 4 people who have had this happen.
