Como me gustaría que en honduras existiera esta modalidad de combate , seria excelente lastima que solo se vea el combate que se hacia en las olimpiadas , nada que envidiarle al karate de Oyama , que por cierto es duro pero esta modalidad es mas completa a mi ver , lo digo sin querer faltarle el respeto a la disciplina del karate

Shidokan karate, founded by Soeno, 1 of Oyama's students, added some muay Thai and judo/wrestling elements, the rule allows punches and elbows to the upper body and standing grappling for 3 seconds

when it comes to kata a lot of the shotokan masters were totally clueless. You can say what you want but thats the truth. shotokan ended up being a corrupted form of okinawan karate.

@@roy572aggravation That’s correct. He is a former sumo wrestler. In 1997, he retired from sumo due to a heart condition. After that, he became a martial artist.

Kudo is actually more like original kyokushin then kyokushin itself. Oyama wanted to include absolutely everything in his art but due to safety, lack of equipment and training decided to take it out. Oyama was originally a freestyle fighter
