IF YOURE LOOKING TO TEST IN NYC REFER TO THE CDL MANUAL In the NYS CDL manual - There’s nothing that state master flasher, Master flasher is a switch that supplies power to activate the alternating Flashing amber and Red Lights from your steering wheel or control panel - Saying damage in NYC will have the examiner question you on what type of damage, you would need to be more specific than damage - destination sign does not need to be inspected as it is not stated in the NYS CDL manual - what was stated for the windshield is not enough from what the manual is stated, examiner might ask for more information - Windshield wipers requires more - inspected the antenna , NYS CDL manual does not need that or speak of that - Mirrors brackets inspection statement is inefficient, in nyc examiners will not accept that. - inspecting mirrors from the back side will have them question you and what was stated is inefficient - hood does not need to be check as there is no information saying to speak about it - bumper and grill does not need to be inspected - when speaking of headlights or any lights, need to be clean operating, and proper color not burnt or cracked - radiator does not need to be inspected - license plate, needs to be secure present and clean - under the bus , you’re checking for loose hoses, hanging wires, leaks and puddles and also that the bus leaning left or right which would indicate the bus has no suspension issues and tires are properly inflated.
