If your son does play for a coach that isn’t playing him even though the effort is there, the attitude is great, other coaches say he’s doing great, his grades our great, but the head coach isn’t playing him even though there is certainly areas of need. ( This was football) Who do you talk to? The coaches and athletic director are on the same page with not taking about playing time, so I didn’t overstep that for 4 years. My son went to his coaches did all he could, was told by his HC and more often by his positional coaches that keep doing what your doing and it will come your there your gonna play more , lots more. Then after the season his DC told him on parents night that one day when my sons older he’ll talk to him ( they’ll have a drink he said) about why the HC had a issue with my son. So you know not all head coaches of high school sports are created equal, some have way to much power, embolden by the AD and school and the rich boosters to do and say as they feel and kid after kid get affected whether they quit or stick it out for 4 years yearning for a coach to just be a high school coach and not a silent dictator catering to certain families and certain kids. So this don’t ask us question BS is to me a load of shit.

I’m sure most of those coaches are paid; head coach in our district gets a extra 20k a year, that’s nothing compared to some school districts. And I’m not saying they shouldn’t, I think they should.

Looks like there's a lot of practicing Doing It Wrong. Those guys don't have a shooting skills to be shooting on the run yet. You should have them literally stopped at the cones and practice shooting with one step towards the goal first there's no sense in moving forward until they can do that. Again they are practicing doing it wrong you were reinforcing bad habits that's worse than not practicing at all. Disagree with the coaching Style on this completely.
