@@idk-iy5wc it's not a matter that they dont want to release them, it's the legal process of it. since it's a remix, we would have to get permission from the original artist from it, and that takes a while. i think if VR wanted it to be put out, he would put it on his RiotVirtual soundcloud, so I would check there. if his EDCLV set gets put on apple music you can stream it there!

you should eq out whatever that ringing frequency at 10k is, as well as the one around 1.3k. and also have the drums be louder and with more prominent sidechain. i also recommend eqing out the low end from your bass and creating your own separate sub bass to reduce mud and make it louder. the sound design is great though i think its a really good concept

great googly moogly i am very happy. val has been my hero since 2012, so to make a remix with him and so many other great people and have it played live is a dream come true for context, the cinema remix he played at EDC is a remix he and all the other students in his semester 2 class made together. luckily i was one of the ones who had their sound added. it was my idea to add the original melody. there's the main pluck (what i added) a piano under it (lomaximus added that part), and a background pluck val added. fun fact: the fills for the original drop were pitchmapped quacks lol overall, super hyped he played this out, and i am for sure going to play it out too!
