Is there any other steps prior to cutting, or once the quill comes out it's good to go on the inside? Very informative vid. My kids wanna eat some squid but I'm don't eat anything from the ocean, so cheers for the info.

NOT one review on KZbin has yet to check the Spine on any cheap rod.....Which concludes to the Viewers the reviewer has no clue how to check for correct spine to guide setting the first Step in rod building .

Olive oil can turn toxic at high heat. Try Avocado oil, tastes even better and heat tolerant.

Bread crumbs around calamari? Not in any restaurant I've been to. The best way is very light coating of seasoned flour, then a dip in the buttermilk/egg coating that's about the consistency of ranch dressing, not too thick so when it fries it gets a nice thin golden layer on the outside.

I'm assuming your in OZ but it's certainly different then how we do it in the Calif. Pacific side. Much bigger squid too. We use a subiki rig with 5 feathered hooks on one line. Much smaller squid, 6 to 8 inches long and we use them as live bait.

From 1:10 to 1:20 you are heading inward and under the Harbour Bridge. That's not going out of the Heads. Did you do that to include the Opera House and then turned around and went out. Like Hollywood, whatever it takes to get the optics right. lol

This guy's got no idea. Firstly you dont need a boat to catch yellow tail and secondly, you shouldn't be using a rod The best way is to go out to some wharf as they love structure, buy yourself a $3 hand reel with 4lbs line, either beef or chicken mince, add some bread crumb if you want, throw the line in and you'll pull yakkas in much faster than this moron!
@downriggershop7 жыл бұрын
The yellowtail are to be used for fishing from the boat, 'Preferred Stock.' We already know you're an idiot from your stupid screen name. Thanks for opening your pie hole and confirming that assessment. :)
