You tried the impact on the bolt side and it didn't work?

@JeffJackson86 nope it did not. It was really really bad. I actually had to call a friend of mine to come with some more tools. Then we went to O'Reilly and rented a couple of extractors. He had a mini chainsaw and we cut through the plastic part until all we had to deal with was the screw. This is where the extractor came in and finally got it off. Took me 3 days just in that area.

Sorry for the late reply. Later i figured out that I had a standard thread bolt and needed a metric thread bolt. Usually 10 or 12mm.

Haha, mine works, BUT, I was using a new fuel filler with a pump that has auto shut off. Before the session i gassed up but the pump shut off early and I assumed it was full (my fault) so I saw the light but figured I must have a bad sensor, until it shut off! Lol

Yeah there is a couple of things happening there. I used a filter on the GoPro. Second I am new to davinci resolve. Much better at final cut pro. Are you talking WB in editing or in camera?

@@JeffJackson86 Yes, filter doesn't matter, it doesnt change the call her temperature :) also the editing program. Just set WB on the same number on both cameras, that will get you there 90%

The stainless steel shaft isn't magnetic enough, I had to use a drill bit shaped like the shaft.

I don't think there are 70 bikes per session. There were at least a couple of laps on the video where I didn't really pass anyone.

Thank you! yeah buddy, it was worth it. Get out there , shoot me a message in case i am at the same event! This was my third session on Sunday and my last. I skipped the first session and the last 3 because I achieved more than i expected and my mind and body was getting a little tired. Figured ending the day on a high note would be best! 90% of the intermediate sessions had red or yellow flags, i didn't want to be next.

No I don't think I did, but other people have used 3D printed ones with success.

Well, its been a long rebuilding process. The engine is back in and the floor is going back into the boat. Hope to splash it next month.

You are right sir,the transom is rotted from the deck level down. i pulled the other floor today. i am drying it all out and removing all the foam.

Thanks for the tip on the ride plate, i have not thought of that. The hull is another issue, its flat on bottom from front to rear so it rises up out of the water too much and wants to skip around like an air boat. I know the battery is too far forward. I didn't want to extend my ESC wires so i tried it with the battery up front, but i see that won't work. I will extend the wires and try again. How fast is your boat using the M-Jet 30?

@@JeffJackson86 I did not measure it, but it is visible in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIuqoaNoirRjqbc I guess the top speed is like yours but my hull is smaller (50cm) and handles better in turns (see 0:48). Also my boat only weights 1,8kg RTR.

@@JeffJackson86 I think some of your problems in turns also happen because the rear part of the hull gets lifted too much and part of the intake is rised above water

@@JeffJackson86 I know it is difficult to change because it is a design you downloaded, right? But maybe if you are able to make any single one of these following changes, each one should help: At first, the M-Jet 30 would work better with a smaller hull, like 45-60cm, as we talked before. That would also decrease weight. Regarding the hull shape: When I designed my hull I used real jetsprint boats as a guideline. Therefore my boat has length to width ratio of 50:20cm - your seems much longer/narrower, as if it was meant for a fast prop drive. Then I would also move the big bottom flat plate with intake lower and make it narrower, just enough to accomodate the intake. I also do not know what your "deadrise angle" is but it might be too big - jetsprint boats use around 23 degrees and that is close to what I have. Also I use a chine/keel on my hulls but some jetboats (Thrasher) run well without it, so it should not be necessary. Basically if you make these changes you will get a nice jetsprint hull:D Also if you look at the M-Jet Sprint, thats an example. I am curious and enjoy watching other people´s projects so feel free to message me again if you make progress or have questions:)

Yes the rudder/nozzle is amazing. The credit goes to Stephan Muller, he is the designer of the jet drive i am using. M-Jet 30. I am putting together a build video and I will include the STL files for the modifications to the hull if you want to print the boat again and purchase the M-Jet 30 to install in the boat.
