Why haven't the local authorities publicised this. So many dedicate canal volunteers in the area would jump at the chance to volunteer for restoration work.

This video is too short. It might be re-edited to make a good intro to a longer video that really explains what you have done and why. Why scrub is a threat to these sites. Why spuds are a threat. How old a picked site is. What is the difference between raised bog and blanket bog and why bogs are important for long-term storage (sequestration) of carbon from the atmosphere. Why letting these sites go through the natural succession through scrub to woodland (one view of 'rewilding') would compromise their carbon sequestration value (trees of course do not sequester carbon) and diminish their wildlife value. Let it run for another 10 minutes with more wildlife in more detail and no more talking heads and visitor centres, but use your talking heads (who after all have been involved in the actual work) to narrate and let them have input to the script they read rather than have it written by PR people. Make more use of maps and diagrammatic presentations of data - a cross-section of a site would be good. Let your narrators say exactly why this LIFE project has been vital for the future of these sites. Maybe why they chose to become involved. Good work poorly interpreted.

What actually is a RAISED Bog though? ! Not particularly clear or carefully explained. Nope… watched whole video and still don’t know what a RAISED bog is …….

Even after watching the video, I have no idea what they are actually doing. Heard a lot of listing of things but not a lot of explaining processes or even what I was looking at.

A very old friend of my family used to be a Salmon fisherman using nets beyond the weir opposite County Hall. This was in the 60's and 70's. Had many a nice Salmon fillet. Thanks for the memories. BTW the family name was Totty. Regards from Chester.

I have volunteers popping up in my yard. I did not plant them and have no idea where they came from. Mid West USA I want to know if the leaves are edible. I know the seeds are used medicinally and for flavoring but can the plant be eaten?

Natural Recources Wales - the title sounds as if all they care about it what they can get out of the wild uplands of Wales. The title should read: THE NATURAL HERITAGE OF WALES.

We used to scrabble cartridge shells and bullets out of the sand dune behind my aunties' bungalow in the 1950s and 60s. I've still got some. The fish and chip shop and bakery on the warren were brilliant. Fish and chips and warm fresh bread with salty welsh butter at the end of a great day on the beach and in the dunes was a joy. I can still taste it. And the sandy salt in the air. It was paradise.

Please, please, please! Don’t put music on films like this. Trying to listen to a spoken commentary while also hearing the noise of the river and then to have hideous ‘musak’ over the top is almost impossible. Good film, good work but please, music (good or bad) is a hinderance to understanding. Les in Chester

Or keep to the intro and outro. I don’t have a hearing problem (yet) but it was hard to hear the people speaking, even when it was in Welsh and didn’t understand a word; so, thanks for the translation.
