@@Brixks512 LMAO, levels ahead of me?? Bud Ive been in and out of the best academies in the Uk since I was 13.. We play real quality football over here, not this sluggish clumsy mess, everyone just kicks the ball and hopes for the best🤣. Please dont think Im being rude I just saw this and was genuinely shocked at how bad it is. Only thing some of these boys got would be a minor physical advantage, in fact, that would mean nothing to me also seeing as over here we have the most aggresive football in the world, but its clear as day no one has any significant technical skills or abillity. I would literally be the best player on that pitch if I went there and Im not even the best player on my street😭

Watching this as an european player is really heartbreaking. The coaching and tactics used by every team (which is basically all out pressure at all times) limits and mitigates the development of those US players so much, it is ridiculous; especially tactical understanding of the game and technique with the ball in general. The tactics are literally how children play in unorganized football in their leisure time. It is a shame really, considering how much money goes into college soccer. They definitely have the resources to scout and build talent that could eventually compete in europe. But as of right now, every d1 soccer team would lose handily to every 5. or even 6. division soccer team in germany, spain, england etc. Also, this style of play only favors physically gifted players (which is obviously a player trait that is desired, but should not be the deciding trait). I bet if players like Inesta, Götze or Isco would have grown up in the US under college soccer they wouldn't even made the team.
@gcxcf2 жыл бұрын
You have to understand that it's the USA and they don't know anything about soccer. They just play to play and that's it. I also feel sad and angry to see how they play, it's like seeing pure children behind the ball without maintaining their positions or defining correctly

Despite that gut-wrenching loss, Charlotte's four game tournament win streak to get to the NCAA soccer final was the greatest underdog run ever! Three wins against nationally ranked teams, with two of those wins coming against national seeds (plus knocking out defending national champion Akron), was absolutely remarkable! And Carolina for sure found out just how good the Niners were! The Tar Holes earned that national title and had to earn it! Charlotte played them toe to toe, actually outplaying them! Wish they'd have won it, but Charlotte's national runner-up finish is to this day unparalleled in NCAA men's soccer! I would put Marshall's path to their title in 2020 right behind the 49ers run!
