I'm guessing this is the same minimalist lineup used at the Brooklyn Bowl gig in 2023. On 6/24, Cha Wa at Symphony Space NYC had a full compliment of 11 band members (all of whom were $^&% outstanding); only carryovers were Joe (duh) and Honey. Change my mind?

“I’m not feeling great & I brought it up oh much too late” Jesus this band…. Melissa James, the drummer, blew my fucking bra off. I hear echoes of The Violent Femmes. However Kai James is more vertically robust than Gordon Gano. Jayden Williams’ facial expressions & head rocking mirror exactly what is happening to my solar plexus when I listen to this song. I’m taking one for the team. That specific tummy wobble when you hear greatness. Fraser Bell is so laid back. Giving the impression of being in total control. Fucking hell…. When a song affects me this much, as all the others in this set do, the only way I can cope is to play it on loop until I get it out of my system. It may take a while. “And I’m not ever gonna die”
