Wow! Helpful for sure. I’ll be a new Intarsia knitter, and you’ve made this so easy to understand and begin. Thank you so much!
@ambahobrienКүн бұрын
Excellent, it really is worth trying. A couple of the testers for this pattern tried intarsia for the first time and loved it as an introduction to this technique.

Hello Ambah, just have a quick question about blocking his shawl. Do you lay it out completely flat or do you fold the side “wings” over so they cup around the shoulders for wearing? Thanks so much! Loved this pattern…would be interested in making it about half a size larger…any tips for increasing the depth and width? Thanks again! Bev
@ambahobrien6 ай бұрын
Hi, I lay it flat and arrange it into a into a slight crescent to add the curve to it.

I love your pattern but I love the one you are wearing with extra eyelets.. Do you have a pattern for that one? Can I just continue the eyelets instead of stopping at the sleeves? Thank you for the tutorial.
@ambahobrien9 ай бұрын
Apologies for the slow reply, I missed your question. The pattern with the eyelets is the Celestia Cardigan. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/celestia-cardigan

Ambah, Thank you for this tutorial! New knitter here. I loved the yarn you used with the specks of color. What is the exact yarn used? I would love to make this sweater. I just purchased your pattern. ❤😊 Just read through comments and saw the yarn is Hedgehog Fibers!

This is soooo pretty. I haven't knitted in years (maybe 50 years...so, yes...I'm old) But....this would tempt me to pick it up again. I have been crocheting or looming for those past 50 years...once a fiber artist, always a fiber artist. 😉You know how that is I'm sure. BTW I have subscribed to your channel so I can see what other fabulous ideas you have. 🤗

The yarn you are using is beautiful, could you describe the composition of the yarn and the ply in relation to the thickness of your needles, please.
@ambahobrien Жыл бұрын
Hi, I used DK weight (8ply) yarn with US6/4mm needles. The yarn is Hedgehog Fibres Tweedy - you can see my project notes on Ravelry here: www.ravelry.com/projects/ambahobrien/celestia-cardigan-3

@ambahobrien Жыл бұрын
Omit the sleeve decreases for more volume, then you'll want to decrease at teh start of the cuff for a fitted cuff.

I noticed that when you did the ssk you seemed to slip them purl-wise. Is that correct for this pattern?
@ambahobrien2 жыл бұрын
Oops, I have a habit of doing that! As you usually work you ssk’s is best - slipping knitwise is how I describe it in the pattern.
