A slightly expanded version of the old video with Jonathan, which was very interesting. Just one small note. In rare cases, you may get unwanted results using 0 margin bottom for all the last paragraphs. For example, when your grid consists solely of paragraphs. When you jump, let's say, from 3 columns for desktops to two columns on tablets and 1 column on mobiles, you get a couple of inconsistent spacing.

Kyle, would you mind sharing the CSS that you briefly showed here: 1:31 Just today I thought I need some base CSS for GP, for fluid typography etc. Looks like you have it all figured out already!

I wish the GenerateBlocks team would bring back the 'generateblocks_media_query' filter and expand on it to allow custom, global breakpoints.

Nowhere near as frustrating as the 150 Global Styles limit in GB :) That’s something I’d be really interested to hear about from you. How do you handle this limitation? Also, in the context of using Patterns in Cloud.
@Gojiyaravi4 күн бұрын
😳 Really? I have never heard about that.
@alexway3034 күн бұрын
@@Gojiyaravi Yeah. Me too. Until last week, when newly created styles just stopped working :) And according to GB support, only a few people have reached this limit so far. I'd bet that it will be more and more of us. Probably, following five Kevin Geary's PB:101 videos step by step should be enough to hit the limit :))
@Gojiyaravi4 күн бұрын
@ Yeah, I follow Kevin too! I haven't reached the limit but that's concerning. Let's see what Kyle thinks about this one.
@kylevandeusen3 күн бұрын
I didn't realize that existed, but I will go complain about it to Tom. That's dumb.
@alexway3033 күн бұрын
@@kylevandeusen I've also asked the team earlier to communicate this topic. But I think it will be fair to expect a response after the holidays :) As Alvind from the support team explained - it was made to optimize performance. Excessive number of global styles can lead to issues like crashes. Sounds to me like some technical blocker under the hood. But the weird part is: "We generally don't expect users to create more than 150 global classes, as that's already quite extensive." I definitely need more :)

so about a switcher... the problem i see is if say by default the site adheres to the OS setting of dark/light/auto, and there's a toggle on the site, if the user changes the toggle to something other than the OS mode, how would they RESET it to honor OS mode? seems the switch/toggle needs light, dark and 'auto' modes or something ?? light and dark would set a cookie so the site stays that way, but auto means there's no cookie and thus the site honors the OS setting.

On whatever you're targeting just add text-wrap: balance; You can also use text-wrap: pretty; which will make sure you don't have any orphans.

Hi this content was great and easy to follow, thanks. But. You do not talk about opt-in clearance, the last setting to be seen on the cloudflare turnstile settings page. This is necessary, I believe, in order to allow website visitor to opt in or out of the turnstile. I am looking to see how I can set that up, and it gets complicated with having to add code snippets to my site and scripts and APIs, I wish you make a video talking about all this and what it means. Thanks anyway.

Nice, i will talk about it. Thank you, I would suggest to have a wp column to toggle on/off for noted!, as we can write notes about each plugin (same way devs always add comments into code), why have we installed a specific plugin, what it is for, where it's being used, etc.
