Hi! I love that this company has come this far over the years. I’ve been working on a similar project (of course with a way lower budget and not nearly as advanced) that you guys inspired me to do but with search and rescue. I wanted to ask, I see you are using a M600. Are you guys still using the A3 flight controller or a custom one? Thank you guys for the work you have done and the lives you are going to save

Thank you for your kind words! The A3 has served us well for a long time but we are currently exploring other options for the future.

Thanks alot for the video! Can you please explain in 4-6 lines in summary, of how an autonomous drone works? I'm making a long tech video and drones are the next tech invention on my list but I am really struggling to explain how an autonomous drone works in a paragraph. I've stayed up late overnight trying to find the correct answer on the internet but i just can't. I would really appreciate it!

How long it can fly from one charge?
@Everdrone3 жыл бұрын
The current max delivery range from the Everdrone Airbase is roughly 6 km. That enables us to fly to the incident, deliver the AED, and fly back again with about 30% battery power left to account for any unforeseen events along the way.

There is no paper available unfortunately. The technology is proprietary of Everdrone. Some additional information can however be found here: www.everdrone.com/news/2018/9/13/everdrone-demonstrates-worlds-most-advanced-visual-navigation-system-for-uavs-powered-by-intel-realsense-technology

Подробнее: robotrends.ru/pub/2021/everdrone---drony-defibrillyatory-v-nebesah-shvecii

@@Everdrone Hello, Thank you for your prompt reply to my comment. We are a team of electrical and software engineers currently developing a RPAS/Drones prototype utilizing leading technology/sensors such as RealSense to conduct advanced operations in order to capture both 2D and 3D data for commercial surveying, mapping, inspection services, including buildings and construction projects. Our past project includes a 2D Lidar based mapping device and software capable of converting sophisticated Pointclouds data directly to AutoCad formats. We will be launching our company in the next few months as we are currently in the process of acquiring license for commercial flights here in Alberta, Canada. I’d be happy to connect with you and discuss further in details if you’d be interested. Thank you, Ray

What type of control system is used? Just PID or any other fancy control algorithms?
@Everdrone6 жыл бұрын
Yes, on the lowest level we use ordinary PIDs - several different PIDs for different flight modes actually. The Visual Navigation system gives us information about speed, height, relative position etc. On top of that there is a lot of high-level logic and intelligence as well.

Hur fixar ni att scanna 360° med D345?
@Everdrone6 жыл бұрын

Is this drone has GPS tracking,how you are operating, Can you tell me about how navigation system work in drone!how drone control in drone delivery system?
@Everdrone7 жыл бұрын
The drone in this film is equipped with sensors called Intel RealSense that provides depth data and RGB-vision of the drones surrounding. In the film the drone is hovering and landing in a stable manner without any use of GPS. Instead the drone is navigating by use of optical flow technology. In the smaller image in the top right corner you can see how the drone is visually tracking its position in relation to the ground and the landing marker. This technology allows for really precise low-altitude-navigation including take-off and landing. And that is obviously necessary when doing cargo missions for example.
