I think he started out great then started to only care about money or what his record company wanted, which is money of course. I'm not saying he's producing trash but it is more commercially now. It feels like that instead of making the art to make the art you wants to present to the world, he's making what people want to hear and that's not what a true artist does. That's what marketing does. Following trends makes you popular now but die in time while making true art won't be so popular now but will make you live in infamy. But as you pointed out, he has career goals

How about Megan Had the most Nominations than everyone but took home nothing. BET has always honored people who others don’t, which is great. However, they also don’t honor our people they should like Tyler The Creator, etc. Grammys don’t recognize Nicki Minaj, not a conspiracy, she is mean, disrespectful, a predator apologist, a female misogynist in many ways like by being Team Tory, and trying to oppress other female rappers, just like misogynistic male rappers do (not all male rappers are misogynists), spread lies and misinformation about the Covid vaccine embarrassing the nation of Trinidad, etc. But Megan and Cardi Get recognized by the Grammys. As did Lil Kim, Lauryn Hill, Missy, Salt N’ Pepa, Left Eye/TLC, etc. So Nicki Minaj won one.

That’s because Black people who have money did not come together with their money to buy BET from Bob Johnson when it was up for Sale. When Bob Johnson sold BET, he became the first Black Billionaire Ever! Before Oprah! He got divorced shortly after and was no longer a Billionaire. Lol. Then it was Oprah. One of my favorite Cosmetic companie, Mented, was Black Owned and created. They sold it and it’s not anymore although they are still creative directors. It’s not because they don’t prefer it to stay Black owned, there aren’t as many Black Cosmetics Companies or Wealthy people willing to pay what they deserve for their product. And it’s a big Responsibility. Even though Viacom is not Black Owned they specialize in media and music Media, so that’s wiser to sell my Black Music Media Company to them, than Just any company who does just any old thing But they are Black.
