Fuck Jagex wholeheartedly. I had my account stolen via their Verified Facebook page. The were doing an anniversary event and I signed in, put my 2FA in and then got logged out. I was sure it was a fake page, so I went back to it and sure enough it’s Verified and apparently legitimate. I reported it to fb as a scam but they said there was nothing wrong with the page. I reached out and support from Jagex said it was my fault for signing in via their FB page and not the website directly. 8 years down the drain. I’m glad it happened though because I was spending too much time playing. Not as much as this fella, but too much.
