Congrats!! I did subscribe to the under 4k for 1200 miles. You have some from the school of “drive it like you stole it” from day one and some who follow what the manufacturer says. It’s your vehicle so if you think it’s best to open her up, do it. I’ll admit it’s hard to stay under 4k for 1200 miles. I did go over here and there. Hope this helps!

Hey! I think I’ve answered this for you before. Warning a car varies, some will tell you it doesn’t matter like it did in the past with older cars. Some will say let the oil circulate/engine settle then drive off. On a new engine, nope I wouldn’t suggest it. On one that’s broken in, you’re fine. Cold start goes back to warming a car up. Most new engines, once the engine settles after start you should be okay to pull off. Yes, you can warm the engine driving on the highway. Hope this helps!

Thanks! 1. S58’s take a while to warm up. 2. I would allow the engine settle after cold starts then move it. Let the oil get through the motor first. 3. The car limits how high you can rev while it’s warming up. 4. As any other car, this is fine.
