Thank you for uploading this, and another thank you for leaving the footage silent instead of some odd music tacked on!

We upload videos without any editing, if we do any modification it is clearly stated as such (in this one there's a zoomed in slowed down part but it's after the original unedited video). We try to preserve the historic value of each video.

Didn't show the in-orbit burn test? That was one of the main purposes of the whole flight this time…

That was probably the most important milestone, they show it briefly during the livestream but it is not shown on this video.

Wow, that's a lot of exposed rivet heads. Very reminiscent of late 50s and early 60s British and French testbed designs. One can only assume that they're seeking to obtain "more data" using "modern instruments", otherwise this smacks of reinventing the wheel.

Doesn’t the water damage hot components from rapid cooling?
@MechDesignTV7 күн бұрын
It does, both the super heavy booster and the starship were destroyed. This was a test flight

You're right, I just made them as small as possible and with the minimum duration. They are now at the side, Itchy don't hide anything. Thank you for the comment!

Reminds me of my childhood. Several NASA families lived in Tehachapi. Our dads regularly checked out these NASA home movies and our whole school would have an assembly to watch them. Later in high school we got to see the space films in science class.

seismographs all over the earth registered when just one F1 engine was tested...... thick blanket of black coming from exhaust cone was raw fuel being dumped down inside small tubes along the thrust chamber for cooling and deadening of noise..... they could not figure out how to run engine without destroying it.... this was part of problem solved.... unbelievably the acoustics of these things would blow them apart.....
