I loved him in "The Man on the Inside". His character's friendship with Ted Danson was one of the highlights of the show for me

The guy at the beginning is sang out of tune and make errors on the piano... Can't he do a re-take? Very disrespectful

I am nowhere near this location, but I watched this and all I could think was, "Wow. That is beautiful." I can truly see and appreciate the passion and the hunger these dancers have for their discipline, and it is awe-inspiring to witness. All the best on you guys' performance and graduation!

Just discovered the brilliant Stephen McKinley Henderson through Netflix's "A Man on the Inside." He is THE jewel of the show imho. So glad to discover this speech and see his excellence irl too. Outstanding address.

Great performance!!! One of the greatest orchestral works ever written. Brings me to tears at the end. Lutoslawski claimed he didn't like it very much! (See Chicago Symphony/Daniel Barenboim cd notes). I attended a master class w/ him in 1985 - Shepherd School. He was in Houston to conduct his music. He said a composer who changes time signatures alot in a movement only makes the score too difficult. You can write it all w/ normal notation! Studying this score proves this. The Shepherd School Orchestra in Houston performs this Oct. 25, 2024. I'll be there!

Alana you're being extremely unfair to all the other aspiring violin players because your skill, expression, beauty, and enthusiasm brings these pieces (mostly what i've seen with the Voices of Music) to such a height of perfection that it might scare others away from even trying! That performance of the Four Seasons (I know, it's the cliche one to go to, but believe you me, i've watched every other VOM piece there) has a legal mandate in my country to have medical staff on hand with a defibrillator and EMT team because of how many hearts you're stopping.

Dear Juilliard, I had an enquiry about the process of acceptance to go through to the next round. If you are able to give this information, would the auditioner be evaluated based on how many mistakes they make or the potential they show through their music? Thank you for your time.

@@elliottbradley6302 i am 78 years old and startet my dance education in switzerland in a private school in 1961….. we had daily ballet classe, once a week graham, once a week jazz….. for todays young students the schooling programm is so much larger and the care of the joung dancers much better in all senses ! thats why i would love to be young again ! my career as dancer was very short because of en injurie on my knies due to bad teaching and bad health care… sorry for my bad english…. my motherlanguage is german.

I will work hard and make it in. This is my dream school, passion, and path to the career I want to take. This school is beautiful inside and out and the opportunities shown in this video just gives anyone more reasoning on why you should apply! Nothing has called out more to me than acting and this video just makes me feel all types of emotions. Joy, excitement, fear, and readiness on what's to come and the handwork and dedication I will put in to get into drama at Juilliard.
