Speaking as a cyclist, I always dismount if there is an inattentive pedestrian when riding on sidewalks. Regardless of if I feel like they should be more attentive, it is our responsibility as cyclists to yield to and keep safe pedestrians and to be especially vigilant when using sidewalks.
