Oro negro and Brogden are both good avocados. I like that you can eat the skin on brogden. I haven't had a lot of oro negro, I've had more brogden. But I do remember oro negro being good. I'd plant a brogden if given the choice. Golden is an excellent Florida variety if you can get your hands on it. It is hard to find unfortunately.

it's sometimes called that! We have another related fruit we usually call custard apple though, annona reticulata. There's a lot of ambiguity amongst these fruits

The Brand SUNDATE medjool dates grown in California distributed to Aldis for sale has been more fresh and authentic tasting than any other brand from many other countries we have purchased in Alabama stores at publix, Walmart, Winn Dixie, or local chains Foodland or Johnsons....my worry is brands available through Aldis change so frequently wonderful fresh or in cookie recipes or in green or chicken salad yum

Brother, I know this was from 2 years ago but holy moly. You only described its texture and told me it's good. I want to live the tasting experience through your descriptive ability and I got nothing. I know m4 tastes coconuty because everyone says that. Now I'm left blue balled for a unique pseudo tasting experience.

How to eat this?? Please tell me in detail ❤
@HealthyLivinAlex2 ай бұрын
You can eat the white part! You have to wait until the fruit opens naturally before doing that. Don't eat the black seed or pink part. You can eat it fresh or cook with it in different ways.

100% especially during the winter months. Sometimes you have to let the skin darken a lot more and even let part of the banana rot and the other half will be perfectly right, Carbs FTW!! 💪💪💪

Well, there are far more people that use butter. You could use coconut oil.sorry to disappoint you.
@jamiebelilah1936 ай бұрын
They are great sautéed with butter. It makes any banana considered too ripe taste grea4. If you cook them right they will caramelize and it's as good as candy but far more nutritious.

Good god Jamie you must be joking or you’re not familiar with how us fruitarian Type vegans eat bananas. Hint: we ain’t cook ‘em 😏😉 and you BUTTER be talking about a VEGAN butter, such as myoko’s delicious cultured oat milk butter

Lomita, California 🏡. My Grandmother had a very tall Mulberry Tree in her yard for 60 + years. It was created by grafting a mulberry bush to an apple tree; it grew wonderfully tall, the berries were up off the ground and the fruit was prolific😀
@chuckurso5938 ай бұрын
The way to know if it is perfectly ripe is you should be able to twist the stem and it will slide out. You unfortunately ate that fruit 1 or 2 days too early. It should indent at the outer skin when ripe, like a solid custard. It will spoon out easily from inner shell. I purchased my Fernandez and San Pablo directly at Lara Farms near Miami.
