So in my experience with both builders that really depends if you are building from the ground up or buying the spec home. I like that Pulte has a mortgage company that offers extremely lower rates compared to others on spec homes, but I love that Hakes brothers comes with a higher standard for spec homes. We are flying back to the states on Sunday and I will change my sim card to a US cell service. I am curious as the new rules in the real estate business. Having sold my house in Portland Oregon in 2023 I had to pay a realtor a commission. Now that I’m buying will I have to do this again? How will this work on a new build? I’m looking at new builds on the ABQ westside and Rio Rancho but I’m worried about some of the reputations of builders. HB seem to be the best value in terms of finishing options that are included standard but I’ve been seeing a lot of complaints of issues, some serious. Of course anytime! You can text me as well (505-363-7926). Yes hakes brothers has a specific community that is having foundation issues, but it’s located in Los Lunas. I have sold a hakes brothers just recently in Fleet estates in Rio Rancho. There was a handful of items that were not completed prior to closing and it’s been approximately 45 days since closing and majority of those items still have to be completed. With that being said, I have had to help the buyer push to get meeting to schedule trade workers to finish these items. 🤞🤞🤞 that it gets completed this week. So I would advise not closing until they complete all items to ensure you can just live life after closing.
