Adeline sounds like a small town girl who has lost her way. In the city, she wouldn't have to compete with small town beauty queens with bleached hair. I mean, all she has is a body to give just like her mother. Sounds like the community didn't band together to help her to be better than her mother. They just continue to treat her like ass instead of a person that can grow, change, and learn. Great job small town America. Way to build strong communities.

As someone who's been through Domestic Violence, I love how singers are starting to bring awareness to it, some people escaped it, some people are still going through it, im just glad people are starting to realize the severity of it, this song definitely hit home.
