I love the shot of the conductor (checks credits: Dr. Seelig!) singing along! When Wicked premiered, and especially by the time the soundtrack came out, I think I had VERY recently come out to my extended family, with about as big a range of results as you can imagine (everything from 'cool ok' to 'you're accepting a facsimile of god's love' [that's been A Story ever since]) and the whole "I'm through accepting limits" verse, especially "Too long I've been afraid of/Losing love I guess I've lost/Well if that's love it comes at much too high a cost" especially always felt very empowering and also representative as a queer person. I feel like obviously, 200 people (and, from what I can tell on the internet, many many others) here agree with me :D

Probably the stupidest rendition I've seen of this . . its something that was done on a completely elementary level. There are a multitude of amazing renditions on youtube. This is not one of them.
