@@miekamariehodson1731 This box/Capenna and some of the other upcoming packs were boxes I already had in my collection from the past. I couldn't justify selling the whole box sealed for $110ish so I opened them. 1) to make content and 2) to try and recoup more than 110$ in trade in total. I may sound uneducated about the sets but I do actually know them. I just haven't looked up recent prices.

You complain and pull a glimmer, not a fracture foil, i opened a play booster and the duplication in that was way worse, yes they need to do something about that, but duskmourn has not disappointed me with pulls, you should be happy with that glimmer broski

You couldn't be bothered to name the "decent" cards and expect me to memorize them? As far as *value* goes which is what I asked Hollowhenge is the only thing worth more than $1 and I was opening these to trade in toward bloomburrow/duskmourn. I have 60seconds to engage with the audience so comments are how I do it. Relax 😂😂

Heck yeah i love the mailday vids! I've been real upset with value frome sets lately. I was so excited the other day when I pulled an invisible ink until I saw the price.😢 I don't own any of the banned cards so maybe thats why I don't have any sort of feeling for it

@@litkingbee7476 yeah the invisible ink cards tanked so hard.. ughh. I just don't feel like the bans make sense to the points they tried to make. And also the cards in the ban list vary so much. Like Karakas... 4 of those at a table means there is no commander that makes sense to me. But these cards were all spells/permanents that could be interacted with. Especially when we have not 1, not 2 but 3 full color spectrum sets of "free" cast spells to do it with in addition to the incarnations and other one off freebies. Then there are all of the 1 drops... I feel like they are promoting no interaction in a game that absolutely thrives on it.

Nadu was fine, the rest were braindead except MAYBE Dockside, although it destroys Red which was the entire point of printing it in the first place. I don't know who they were catering to here. Really hurts the cEDH metagame, which is the only content I enjoy watching. If you're familiar with cEDH, Jeweled Lotus isn't even a problem at all, yes its almost an autoinclude, but Dockside is much more format warping because of clones etc. Agree that these could all be Rule Zeroed without any issue. This feels like such a whiney bitch move, and I think it will only lead to worse outcomes for the format because Hasbro is undoubtedly pissed at this also. At this point just reprint the reserve list (Mox Diamond, Chrome Mox, LED, Monolith, Ancient Tomb, Vault, OG duals etc etc where does it end?) and abolish that entire thing if you're going to destroy this much collector value. Now high power decks will be more focused around Consult Thoracle and spamming Rhystic asap. I'm interested to see where things go, but if anything it has just made things a bit less diverse actually. If this is about tournaments, just have banlists for specific tournaments instead of fucking everyone else over.

@@frankmagyar5532 I don't play too much cEDH but I like to watch Play to Win and others and I feel like even though this ban is part of the win con Blue Farm is still going to be fine. They still have the Breach/LED loop and Thoracle with Rhystic to draw it all while the rest of the table tries to fill the Lotus/Crypt hole with other mana/rocks... I have NEVER played a game high power or casual where I was told JLo or Crypt ruined the game. Nadu was immediate salt if you let it stick around but I think it made more of a case to be banned for time suck/solitaire gameplay. Dockside was nutty it could be dealt with.. just really feels like a small part of a much bigger plan/problem. Lets go to the flip side of this. If ppl like myself don't like playing against time consuming random outcome mechanics like dice roll,coin flipping, dungeons etc. Can we just hate it out of the format too? Watching someone interupt every game action with a real life action is ass to me but fun to the person playing. It's the same concept in my eyes... only my issue doesn't make Hasbro more or less money.

@@panzaggg I tried to avoid looking at it only from that point but I have multiple copies/variants of every one of those banned cards... hit me personally for $1500-$2K realistically. Makes me not want to collect and also makes me want to proxy the new high power & expensive cards so I don't feel bad. Jlo and Dockside arent even 5yrs old and were made for the format...
