Hey, I purchased this weapon for my sister and it has never been cleaned (4 or 5 months) I know lol...but your video was informative because I've never cleaned this type of weapon and was fairly easy. Thanks for the How To video and will save it for future cleaning.

Have you tried using the loop method? Just started using your video with my son and thought this method was clever to not lose the needle, but we got a bit stuck when we didn’t have much room left to move between the needle and the cloth.

I feel like you could still secure the thread the same way as you did for the cross stitching. Just with the end of it instead of finding the middle first. You don't need to fold over the entire thread to create a loop to feed through the needle. Then the very end would be "double" and secured but in a way that you could even take the thread out of the needle again without having to cut it. Doing it this way for the main part would not be useful as you'd need to use two threads to create the loop at the end and that would create bulk but if you're working with a single strand it should be fine. (P.S. right after writing this I tried it out with yarn and a darning needle because I realized that this is THE perfect way to secure the yarn to add details without having to worry about loosing the thread. Literally said "Aha!" Out loud and startled my boyfriend lol... But yeah, works. Dunno if I really wanna start cross stitching but I'm definitely gonna keep that)

Thank you for the video. I own two of these; I bought one for myself and one for the misses. They are my favorite guns. I have fired over two thousand rounds between the two of them and have only ever had one jam. They are the most reliable weapons I own.

If you count the cards did you find the hits to be in addition to the advertised quantity? That's what I found with the Illinois Men's Basketball cards... I bought 25 packs for an expected total of 350 cards but ended up with 356 of which 16 were foil/holo/autos. Btw, I think that holo you have might be a pink holo? Here are cards I pulled... kzbin.info/www/bejne/paG5Z2iwhpppgLcfeature=shared

Thanks so much for sharing! I homeschool my kiddo and I’m wanting him to learn as a quiet/calming activity. My brother and I both learned from my grandmother when we were kids… But I think it’s encouraging for him to have a man doing an instruction video. :) you make it cool! Also I needed the refresher and I look forward to starting again.

Good video. One recommendation, buy a box of exam gloves for working with paint thinners and gun-cleaning fluids. These chemicals are toxic and your skin will absorb them.

It is addicting. By the way sailors hundreds of years ago had to sew/stitch/mend their clothing, or sails when they tore! Earliest knitting history was actually men knitting chain mail to ear under their armor. I am for manly men, but there is nothing wrong with being manly and loving needle crafts! Do it!
