I swear over 50% of games that came out around this time have the exact same story. Girl gets kidnapped and you fight your way through multiple levels of bad guys to get her back.... I'm not made, I think more games should be like that these days

Each of the playable characters have so much personality, if only that had different power moves

So sad that the MegaDrive couldn't run this game, this is an Arcade game I would've loved to play on console.. but the MegaDrive and SNES were so underpowered back in the days

I love side scrolling games like this that include a dash attack in the mechanics.

Mack the knife was the superior character. You can move with his super and cover the whole screen.

Technically, low level henchmen and robots are not supposed to be able to knock Colossus down. His mutant power is super strength and a very high level of invulnerability in his armored form.

We had this game in our carnival arcade, i got to play this every few months back then. Never could finish it, enjoyed the ending haha.

I love that it flashes from the word peace to a guy firing a machine gun. Gi joe was the best. I still have my vhs that i ran home from school everyday to record the next part of the gi joe movie. Commercials and all. I still got my sgt. Slaughter gi joe somewhere. My buddy was totally spoiled and had the aircraft carrier. If you have never seen that thing its insanely huge. They must go for a ton of money now.
