This is sad that this is what a Limited Entry unit is reduced to producing. This is an general unit quality bull in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. Waiting 22yrs to shoot something that can be hunted yearly in other states is a sad indictment of Utah's processes.

I’ve lived here in Utah for 5 years only fishing here for about 3 years but I’m yet to see or catch a black crappie or yellow perch. Can you point me in the right direction to help me find some crappie or perch. All I have caught here so far is white bass and catfish
@WildaboutUT
@WildaboutUT 11 күн бұрын
A great place to catch both yellow perch and crappie at the same time would be through the ice at Utah Lake this winter. I've caught crappie and perch in many of the Utah Lake marinas as well as Lincoln Beach using a trout magnet in about 3-5ft of water. Also the perch bite has been pretty hot at Yuba reservoir recently. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'd love to help out!

My dad told me how he was working in a CCC camp in Oregon during the depression. His camp was cutting hiking trails through the mountains with shovels when a rattlesnake bit him on the leg. His high leather boots saved the day. Do we ever stop to think about how a lot of the trails happened to get made? Young guys during the depression worked on crews do this and other improvement projects around the US. This gave them paying jobs when there were none, and half their pay was sent home to their mothers. It sure helped my dad's family a long time before I was born.
