In the UK, you can’t get a tattoo done in a shop under 18, you can’t buy alcohol until 18, you can’t buy tobacco under 18, you can’t gamble under 18, the legal age of consent to have sex is 16, etc. These ages are in place because it is deemed people under the age set to do/ consume these things are not matured enough or aware of the consequences of the listed above and/ or what is safe and smart. So why in the fuck is it okay and in anyones mind sensible to let a child alter their bodies, seriously damage or loose their ability to have children and their mental health to be ruined from being so severely confused at such a young age????

I get this as an adult all the time, when I'm overstimulated and go nonverbal. They always start to speak to me like I'm a child and it gets me even more overstimulated and yo a meltdown. Then when I'm in an inner meltdown and they pressure me to talk, I'll shout the answer out - usually it's a readily scripted sentence or echolalia. After that I'll get blamed for behaving wrong and I'll try to get myself together for few days and not do any socialising.

Customers should carry official paperwork declaring it's an assistant dog. Loads of people try it on, knowing full well it's the only way a dog will be allowed be carried.

If no dogs are allowed then no dogs are allowed. It never ceases to amaze me when those of us who may be different in some way want to be treated equally and yet are all too quick to play the "disadvantaged card" when they don't get preferential treatment. The Uber driver was right and within their rights.
