どのアレンジも素晴らしいですが、このTipitinaは誰よりもDrっぽさにあふれてます。 私も弾いてみたくて、ガンボのTipitinaを採譜してもらいましたが・・・中々うまく行きません。ガンボのTipitinaは、最初のレ・レ♯・ミ・ファーと上がっていく部分が良くわからず。右手をオクターブで3連しつつ、左手トリルなのか？？？ Memories of Professor Longhairは、同じように採譜→Drの演奏をひたすら聞きながら直してかなり良い線までいったので、もう少し楽に楽譜になるか？？？と思いましたがガンボの方が難しそうです。

もうDVDで買えないしと二の足を踏んでいたHomespun、動画サービスを買ってみてだいぶわかりました。本当は楽譜ではなく、手で覚えれば良いのですが、どうしても譜面が無いと私はできないので頑張って譜面作ります。

動画を見ていただいてありがとうございます。 Dr Johnのピアノが大好きな人の話をこうやって聞けるとき、本当にこのチャンネルを初めてよかったなと思う瞬間です。 元祖Professor LonghairのTipitinaよりドクターの方が洗練されていて、「完成」していますよね。 この方の動画は見ましたか？→Naekid Pianoさんの「Dr. John | "Tipitina" - Style New Orleans Blues | Piano Tutorial」 すごい完成度ですよね。 ここで演奏しているMemories of～はEbですが、概要欄にFに移調したものも公開してくれています。 この冒頭の部分の弾き方でガンボのTipitinaも弾いているのではないかと思うのですがどうでしょう？ 私ももう少し研究してみますね！

本とCDは持っていてDVDを持っていませんでした。で、Homespunで昨日買ってみたら今は配信サービスになっているのですね。それはそれで使いやすいのでよく見ると・・・やっぱり、Dr、そこまで複雑なことはしないで独特な響きが出てます。譜面屋さんは似た響きでも、ソフトでしか演奏できないような力業が多くて。とりあえず、ソフトに取り込んでから、また自分で弾けるようにアレンジ頑張ります。@@neworleans88keys

I'm enjoying this cover on repeat. Do you have any sheet music? I would appreciate it if you posted them somewhere or made a tutorial like in another video. These syncopations, Dr. John's and James booker's bass, professor longhair's riff. I want to do it just as cool.

Thanks for your version. The song is called "Six Feet Down", it was composed by the band's singer Erika Lewis and was on the Tuba Skinny's album of the same name, released in 2010, and also on the band's recent album containing original tunes "Magnolia Stroll" (2022). There is also a recording of the band's cornetist and informal leader Shaye Cohn playing the song on the piano, the video is titled "Erika Lewis, Shaye Cohn, & Craig Flory - Six Feet Down" on RaoulDuke504's channel.

@@neworleans88keys In that case, if you don't already know it, it might be of interest to you as a pianist that Cheye Cohn, better known as a cornetist, is a multi-instrumentalist and the piano was her first instrument. In her youth, she studied classical piano in New York City. There are many videos on KZbin where she plays jazz on the piano with Tuba Skninni and other musicians. Several tracks with her playing the piano are on Tuba Skinny's albums. Particularly interesting in my opinion are the performances with Erika and Norbert Susemihl (included in Norbert Susemihl's Night On Frenchmen Street and New Orleans Blues - Erika, Norbert & Shaye - (2020 Remaster) albums). There are also videos of her performances in Japan with Japanese musicians.

コメントありがとうございます。 ここでアップしているようなスタイルの曲に関しては楽譜は買わないですね。 基本的には耳で音を拾ってます。 と言っても、コードと、メロディーを拾うだけですが。 アレンジも基本的なところだけ、忘れないようにテンポやメモ程度の記譜はしますが、その程度です。
