Can you please explain what is "U"
@PhysicsHigh
@PhysicsHigh Күн бұрын
The lower case u is just the initial velocity , as opposed the lower case v which is final velocity. This is the common symbols here in Australia. I know in other jurisdictions they may use Vi and Vf respectively, instead

I think you could explain the direction of induced current using Fleming's right hand rule. Remember that motion is in the direction of the conductor. Relative to the magnet, the conductor is moving upwards (you could explain this to a student to imagine that you are holding the magnet still and pull the tube upwards), now you can use first finger = field and thumb = motion to obtain the correct direction.

This is really lousy science... -Ether could move with the Earth like air. You don't get different speeds for sound because of earth orbit/rotation because air travels with earth... -The experiment wasn't even done in a vacuum... it was done in AIR!!! So it's not even clear if you're testing light in air + ether, or just air. They could have at least done it in a vacuum, that technology existed at this time. -Air has refractive incidence, and light speed is not invariant in a medium. Which is why relativity is also lousy science. To the guy who made the video, great video! Very well explained. Maybe could have included better explanation for why it would slow down though along yellow line. Intuitively most people would assume the negative speed moving against wind would balance out with positive boost moving with wind. As a cyclist I definitely wouldn't expect them to balance out hahaha, riding with and then against wind is overall slower than having side-wind, I would expect yellow to be slower as they predict, I believe it's because wind resistance is exponential, not linear. Higher speed takes more energy to accelerate so smaller boost from wind supporting you, than resistance added from wind opposing. Does the math indicate something similar?

Some time ago I was looking at using plasma balls as instruments/interfacing devices. The real problem seems to be in calibrating (coz of whatever error, such as manufacturing, environmental variation, etc) as best as possible and then correlating/assignment along with differentiating

At 4:07 you say "Can I make it absolutely clear, we do not have a back current". Are you saying that the back EMF doesn't produce a current that opposes the source current? I was taught the net current = source current minus back EMF current. Is this correct?
@PhysicsHigh
@PhysicsHigh 2 күн бұрын
No that is not correct. There is no such thing as back current. We have a supply voltage and a back voltage (back emf) that results in a NET voltage. This results in a lower current according to Ohm's law - see my summary version kzbin.info/www/bejne/mnm0mn6we7p5e6c

I was leaning towards B for Q20 but the higher instantaneous velocity of Z(longer circumference, same orbital period) than X gave me pause for thought.
@PhysicsHigh
@PhysicsHigh 15 күн бұрын
I understand your hesitation. The question assumes inertial frame (it is not), no GR, (it has). It is as if the earth was flat and what the person at X would experience. Since Z is stationary to them, there is no dilation effects

in the example problem, i’m having a hard time understanding how the magnetic field is opposing the change in the initial magnetic field. i understand the explanation of how we get the direction going upwards inside the coil, but how does this support lenz’ law where “the magnetic field created by the induced current opposes changes in the initial magnetic field” if there are portions of the magnetic field that are actually in the same direction (like inside the coil)

Q: that COHERENCE NO logical explanation A : The invention of quantum theory has been invented to satisfy why COHERENCE is created ; why the LASER exists ! too many theories look for a better answer.
