I did someting similar with the story, "the Mitten". Students played different instruments when the different animals appeared in the story. The older student idea is amazing! thanks!

Thank you so much for this freebie, Mr Henry. Have everything prepared to try with my classes tomorrow. Just can't work out one word in the lyrics. What comes in the missing space here "Then all of a sudden .... turns a shade of green" ?? Might be the accent but I just can't work it out.

@MrHenrysMusicWorld

Awesome! So, in my class, I give out Mr. Henry bucks. A student with the most points would get three Mr. Henry bucks. The "bucks" go into a bin, and mid/end of the year, I pull a few names from the bin, and those students win a music prize. Hope that helps! - MH

I just bought the Donner SE-1 in May. Still haven't figured this baby out. I cannot figure out how to speed up or slow down the percussion. The manual is vague and has zero information about that. I am still not sure how to incorporate all the functions it has available after listening to the demo songs. It's an amazing piano, but the manual is just not clear enough about how to make all of these amazing features work together. Do you have any suggestions?

Great game! I’ve modified to suit my large classes better. Instead of everyone having bags with cards, I put the four card in a basket and I choose the first four students, they choose their characters, then the games runs itself. This saves time and it’s less hassle than everyone with a bag and having to count the pumpkins.

How do you suggest implementing this in a classroom with 20-22 kids? Would it be possible for you to make a video with the prompts back to back, without the chorus in between? Or the chorus every 5 kids? I love this idea, but my classes are too big.

I do this game with my classes i show them the first 2 people from this other video kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZ2zcmhqq62gpqs and then we just play it without any music going. I go first and we just go clockwise in the circle. Its a faster tempo version.
